Over a thousand people have registered as flood evacuees so far.
That from Dan Bedell of the Atlantic branch of the Canadian Red Cross, who tells CHSJ News that as of 10 a.m. today, the Red Cross has registered 1012 people from 426 different households.
Everyone who evacuates has to register with the Red Cross by calling 1-800-863-6582.
Anyone who wants to help those impacted by the flooding can make a financial donation to the New Brunswick Floods Appeal through the Red Cross. Donations can be made online or by phone.
