You can have a salmon to call your very own.
Discover Saint John will be hosting a charitable auction with the Interaction Children’s Theatre featuring the colourful fish that dotted the uptown core last fall can be added to private collections.
Victoria Clarke tells CHSJ News the project was a Canada 150 event where they partnered with the provincial government.
“As our principal sponsor, the government of New Brunswick chose the recipient” Clarke says ” so we are splitting the proceeds between the artists and the Interaction children’s theatre company”.

One of the salmon was stolen from its spot on Princess Street and never recovered. Clarke says they will be make mention of that salmon and the artist who created it at the auction in May.
The auction is coming up on May 10th will include a performance by the company at Interaction.
