KV Fire assisting a woman and her daughter out for a walk in Rothesay after one of the ladies starting having medical difficulties.
Platoon Chief Kevin Clynick tells CHSJ News they got the call around 3pm to respond with paramedics in the trails above the Renshaw Road.
He says firefighters took a stokes stretcher in the woods to get this woman out because it is able to slide across the snow quite easily.
The woman was sent to hospital to be checked out.
