Parking Ban Declared For South/Central Peninsula

Residents who live in Saint John’s south/central peninsula will have to park off-street on Saturday night.

The City of Saint John has issued an overnight on-street parking ban for the south/central peninsula.

The temporary ban begins Saturday at 11 p.m. and runs until 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

Vehicles that are not moved will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

Officials confirm in a release five parking lots will be cleared for use by on-street parking residents beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Parking lots include:

  • Corner of Duke and Sydney Street
  • Peters Street
  • Carmarthen Street (Vineyard Church)
  • Sydney Street (Service New Brunswick)
  • Vulcan Street
