Parking ban in north end Thursday

On-street parking will be banned on several streets in the north end Thursday.

According to a release from the City of Saint John, the ban is necessary to complete snow removal in the area.

The following streets will have no on-street parking from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8:

  • Adelaide Street
  • Clarendon Street
  • Harvey Street
  • Douglas Street
  • Douglas Avenue (from Main Street to Bentley Street)

Temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted at least eight hours in advance of snow-removal efforts.

Any vehicles still on the street will be ticketed and possibly towed before the snow removal is finished.
