The city is continuing to make progress on the future development of Partridge Island with $5,000 more dollars going toward developing that plan.,
Originally drafted in 2004, it would include Harbour Passage style walking trails and kiosks both on the mainland and the island itself. Mayor Mel Norton tells CHSJ News the breakwater would potentially be used for access.
Earlier this summer the action committee for the island helicoptered over to take a look and strategize.
