PCS Hosts Language Learning Centre For Syrian Students

A Language Learning Centre for the new Syrian students arriving in Saint John has been set up at Prince Charles school.

Anglophone South Superintendent Zoe Watson tells CHSJ News they have 43 kids ranging in age from kindergarten to high school.

She says they were expecting another 11 so they will be at 54 students by next week.

She tells us the week before March Break they will identify the students that are ready to transition to their local K to 8 schools and it will likely be Princess Elizabeth, Hazen White-St. Francis, Prince Charles with a few students going to St. John the Baptist-King Edward.
