Pedestrian dies after crash in northeastern N.B.

Mounties say a 69-year-old woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in northeastern New Brunswick.

Emergency crews were called to a home in the community of Caraquet on Sunday morning.

RCMP say the victim, who was from the community, died in the hospital from her injuries on Monday.

The driver of the vehicle did not suffer any physical injuries in the collision.

Police say criminality is not suspected.
