A man was taken to the hospital Thursday after being struck by a vehicle in Millidgeville.

Saint John police said it happened on University Avenue near the Tim Hortons around 11 a.m.

“Road conditions were snow-covered at the time of the incident,” said spokesperson Jim Hennessy in a news release.

Hennessy said the pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

“The Saint John Police Force Traffic Division is investigating,” he said.
