The People’s Alliance Party has chosen its candidate for the riding of St. Croix for the September election.
Joyce Wright was born and raised in the riding, is a mother of five and grandmother of six and in a release says she understands the concepts of living within your means.
She adds those are the principles that will restore financial prosperity to New Brunswick.
“I have voted for just about every provincial party in past years, but I have always been severely disappointed by the broken promises, time after time. says Wright. ” If we truly want change, we have to accept the responsibility of getting that change by changing the way we vote, It’s just that simple.”
Wright has worked in the insurance industry and currently serves as Board Chair for the Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission.
She has also served two terms as President of the People’s Alliance Party of New Brunswick.
The People’s Alliance now says it has 17 candidates in place with six months until the election.
