Philanthropic Women Donate $25K To Men’s Shelter

100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John has made its latest donation to a local charity in the city.

The Outflow Men’s Shelter will receive more than $25,000 from the group of generous women.

Every three months, the women hear presentations from three local charitable organizations and then vote on which one to donate to.

Each woman who attends the meeting writes a cheque for $100 to the winning charity.

Kennebec Manor and the Community Autism Centre also gave presentations to the women.

This is the second win for Outflow. They took home more than $23,000 back in March 2016.

The local chapter of 100 Women Who Care has donated $854,000 to 35 charities since its inception in 2013.
