Good news for residents in the Fundy area — NB Power says a planned power outage this afternoon will not be happening.
It was supposed to take place from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to update facilities in the area.
Areas affected would have been Chance Harbour, Dipper Harbour, Lepreau and Little Lepreau, Maces Bay, Musquash, Prince of Wales, New River Beach and Pocologan.
No word from the utility on why the planned outage has been cancelled.
