The feds and Fredericton pledging to find more ways to collaborate when it comes to trade.

On a recent visit to Saint John, Federal International Trade Minister Francois-Phillipe Champagne and Provincial Treasury Board president Roger Melanson signed a letter of intent.

Melanson says both levels of government have programs that can help provincial companies get their products to market faster.

When a company does qualify for a program its done in a timely fashion where they can focus their energy on growing their business.

Champagne says it’s about both governments working better together and trying to create middle-class jobs in New Brunswick.
