The ski season is officially over at Poley Mountain near Sussex and the general manager is already looking ahead to next year.
Bill Anderson says upgrading snowmaking operations will be a priority during the offseason.
“This is southern New Brunswick and you never know what you are going to get for natural snow and we need snow for skiing. So we intend to put more money into snowmaking,” he notes.
Anderson says the lodge itself has become a four seasons retreat with weddings, anniversaries, reunions and other events booked over the next few months.
Other activities will also be featured over the next few weeks including an Easter brunch and a wine tasting event.
