Sussex MLA Bruce Northrup rose in the legislature today to praise the community spirit and the quick action of Poley Mountain’s general manager and staff, who were up and working first thing after a fire destroyed the lodge on Tuesday night .
He also gave kudos to the 5 fire departments who fought the blaze, managing to save a nearby trailer.
Northrup said new trailers are already heading up to the hill. Poley will still open for skiing at the earliest possible date. Stay tuned to their website for details.
