Police continue to investigate fatal ATV crash

Mounties are seeking security camera footage as they continue to investigate a fatal ATV crash in Charlotte County.

Emergency crews were called to Deadmans Harbour Road between Blacks Harbour and Beaver Harbour around 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 10.

“The driver and sole occupant of the ATV was located deceased nearby,” RCMP said in a news release at the time.

Police were looking to speak to the occupants of a small black or silver car that briefly stopped at the scene and spoke to other witnesses.

RCMP said Wednesday that they have since identified the vehicle and spoken to the individuals involved.

Investigators are now asking anyone with footage of the ATVs travelling in the area around the time of the crash to contact St. George RCMP at 506-755-1130 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
