The Fredericton Police Force has identified a body found in the Saint John River earlier this week.
A fisherman discovered the body of a man near the Westmorland Street Bridge around 5 p.m. Wednesday.
In a news release on Thursday, police identified the man as Blake Colin Boyne, 34 of Fredericton.
“At this point, there is no indication of foul play,” the police force said in the release.
Investigators and the coroner’s office continue to look into the circumstances surrounding Boyne’s death.
