Saint John Police searching for a young man who is a suspect in the armed robbery of a taxi driver in the north end around Douglas Street.
Sergeant Lori Magee says the man was picked up in the area of Landsdowne Plaza and soon after pulled out a weapon and demanded money. He made off with some and was last spotted around Clarendon Street. The taxi driver wasn’t hurt.
The suspect is described as being in his early twenties, clean shaven, about 5’10”, between 145-175 pounds, of average build, and was wearing a red/orange hoodie.
