The Rothesay Regional Police Department asking the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit to investigate after a fatal shooting in the Kennebecasis Valley involving a police officer.
The incident happening on Friday evening at a home on Shipyard Road in Rothesay as police were responding to a violent domestic dispute.
A 27-year-old man was shot and was rushed to the Regional Hospital where he died from his injuries.
