City Police were called to the lower west side last night shortly before 10:00 after getting a report of a gunman being barricaded inside a residence.
The Emergency Tactical Services unit, commonly known as the SWAT team, was called in and after 3 and a half hours of negotiations, a 57 year old man was arrested for uttering threats.
Police say they seized a weapon but it wasn’t a firearm.
