With guns drawn, the Integrated Street Crime Unit made 4 arrests and seized a number of firearms and drugs after carrying out search warrants on the east side and north end.
3 men, aged 21, 23 and 26 were arrested on Simpson Drive. A 31 year old man was arrested on Taylor Avenue.
Police were also called early this morning to a disturbance at Club Blush on Sydney Street. Three men were fighting with other patrons and refused to leave. A police officer was struck in the face.
A 43 year old man was arrested for causing a disturbance, assaulting a police officer and obstruction. The other two men with him were also arrested for causing a disurbance and obstruction.
