A new poll has found a majority of Canadians support municipalities making face masks mandatory in public places.
The Ipsos Reid poll found 79 per cent of Canadians will support it during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Looking at results specifically for Atlantic Canada, 64 per cent support this measure.
Fifty-nine per cent of Atlantic Canadians says they already wear a mask when entering a public place, including grocery stores and banks.
