A new poll by Corporate Research Associates finds consumer confidence increased slightly this quarter climbing to the highest level since more than seven years.
Port City residents are also pleased with the performance of Common Council and the leadership of Mayor Don Darling.
65 per cent are satisfied with the job they are doing compared to 62 per cent three months ago.

The polls results come from the Corporate Research Associates Urban Report. The poll was conducted over the phone between July 19th and August 7th.
Overall results are considered accurate to within 4.9 percentage points, 95 out of a 100 times.
