Pollett River Run Moved Online This Year

A gathering that has been held for the past 20 years, that sees large crowds, and homemade watercraft on the Pollett River, is being held in a different form this year due to COVID-19.

Due to the State of Emergency, The Pollett River Run will be held on the Internet this year and participants are encouraged to post their creative videos and photos from home.

It will be held on April 25th, and the day will be divided up and includes things like a pancake breakfast, Pollett River raft challenge, a Mud and Mayhem Challenge and live music.

Southeast RCMP Sergeant Pat Tardif has confirmed there will be extra officers on duty in the area where the run is normally held.

They’ll be keeping an eye out for those who decide not to follow provincial guidelines.

More details on the online evening can be found on the Pollett River Run Facebook page.
