Port Saint John Receives $63M For Modernization Project

The feds are funneling a huge amount of cash into the Port’s West side modernization project to the tune of more than $63-million.

The announcement being made by Saint John MP Rodney Weston at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal.

Port Saint John CEO Jim Quinn says the $205-million project has taken a major step forward by receiving this money.

The project, which was announced back in January, will see 200 people employed a year during a 7 year construction phase.
