NB Liquor has been renovating stores across the province, to offer even more product and choice, and a more modern atmosphere.
Spokesperson Mark Barbour says they’ve had a great response especially for the East Point location in Saint John, “Over a twelve month period, we were able to increase sales in that particular store, from that model that we chose, roughly around 10 per cent which translated into about one extra million dollar from the old store to the new store in saint John.”
Upgrades were also done at the Moncton North location. Barbour says they haven’t looked at the traffic coming into that location as of yet, but they suspect that it will translate into an increased percentage of sales, similar to Saint John’s.
He adds, shoppers are able to see more product and the store is a better design now. They’re discovering more product that they didn’t see before because of the black background, and things are standing out more..
