Possible COVID Exposure At Nine Dollarama Stores

Public Health has ordered nine Dollarama stores to close for 48 hours due to a possible workplace exposure to COVID-19.

The order impacts nine stores from Fredericton to Edmundston, including six in the capital region.

“While there is not believed to be a risk to the public, out of an abundance of caution the stores have been ordered to do a deep cleaning before being permitted to open again,” Public Health said in a series of tweets late Wednesday night.

The affected stores are:

  • 102 Main Street, Fredericton
  • 528 Smythe Street, Fredericton
  • 5 Trinity Drive, Fredericton (Corbett Centre)
  • 1381 Regent Street, Fredericton (Regent Mall)
  • 125 Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton
  • 1198 Onondaga Street, Oromocto
  • 337 Connell Street, Woodstock
  • 15 Mowin St., Madawaska Maliseet First Nation
  • 11 Boul Centre, Saint-Basile (Madawaska Centre)

New Brunswickers are reminded to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and to get tested if any appear.
