Potash Corp announcing its rescinding layoff notices impacting about 50 workers in Penobsquis.
Things are still tight in the granular potash market so this temporary extension will allow continued production at the Penobsquis Mine as they ramp up production at the Picadilly operation.
A release goes on to say ramp-up activiities are continuing on schedule with initial production expected in the fourth quarter this year.
