Recently, there was a woman in India that collapsed in public. She was taken to hospital and declared brain-dead. Doctors determined that, she had no brain reflexes and not any chance of regaining consciousness. Her family were told the bad news and grief-stricken, they began making funeral preparations and arranged to take her home for her “Celebration of Life.” However, on the ambulance ride home, a sudden jolt resulted in her being revived. The woman began breathing normally and eventually regained consciousness. Confused, the health officials turned around and drove back to the hospital where she made a full recovery! Doctors say, they were baffled by the whole thing. They soon sent her home and her life is now back to normal
BTW, that “Sudden Jolt” that brought her back to life was caused by the route the ambulance took. Its a road with massive potholes!
Moral of the story, perhaps our fine collection of potholes here in the Saint John area…. not so bad? They COULD save a life!
