Power Outage Prompts School Closure

A power outage west of Saint John has forced one school to close for the day.

The Anglophone South School District says Fundy Shores School in Dipper Harbour is closing early.

NB Power reports just over 500 homes and businesses without power in Chance Harbour, Dipper Harbour, Lepreau, Little Lepreau, and Maces Bay.

According to the utility’s website, electricity should be restored between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
