The Opposition Conservatives have their sites set firmly on Provincial Health Minister Victor Boudreau.
Fredericton West-Hanwell M-L-A Brian MacDonald claims Boudreau was charge of water quality at Parlee Beach, the health of which is directly related to the development of his proposed campground there. As such, MacDonald claims there was a conflict of interest for many months and Bourdreau should be replaced.
Premier Brian Gallant denies Boudreau was in a conflict of interest, pointing out that was the conclusion of the Conflict of Interest Commissioner.
The Premier does acknowledge there could be a perception of a conflict of interest which is why Boudreau recused himself.
