Prison Time For String Of Crimes

A string of crimes in southern New Brunswick has led to prison time for two people from the Saint John area.

Mounties said Kyle Sheldon Dallon and Allyson Breanna Hodgson, both of Willow Grove, faced a combined 45 charges.

They included theft, mischief, assault, flight from a peace officer, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police said the charges stemmed from more than a dozen separate incidents across Grand Bay-Westfield, Hampton, Sussex, Riverview, Saint John, and Fredericton.

Investigators identified two persons of interest and arrested a 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old man in Berryton on April 29 after a report of a stolen pickup truck from Welsford.

Dallon was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison while Hodgson was handed a two-year sentence.

Both were sentenced on Aug. 18 but police only released a news release on Wednesday.
