Proposed Changes To Dog Tethering Laws

Proposed changes to New Brunswick’s Cruelty to Animals Act would limit the amount of time a dog could remain tied up each day.

Another proposed amendments would allow officails to take action before the animals’ health suffers.

The proposed changes are posted online for a 28-day public comment period. If approved, they would come into effect December 1.
