New Brunswick’s social development minister will be in town Friday to announce a new nursing home.
Bruce Fitch will take part in a news conference in the Port City on Friday afternoon.
The details will be unveiled at the Shannex Parkland Saint John campus in Millidgeville.
On Friday morning, Fitch was in Moncton to announce that Shannex has been selected to build and manage a 60-bed nursing home in that city.
While the site has not yet been confirmed, construction will start next summer and opening should take place in 2023.
