Province To Offer Free Well-Water Testing Kits

If you have a private well and your property has been flooded do not drink the water until it has been tested.

The provincial government is providing free well-water testing kits starting on May 17th at Service New Brunswick Centres.

Because the flooding is occurring in different places at different times you must wait 10 days after the water has receded from the private well area before you can begin the chlorination or sampling process for testing.

You can find more information about chlorinating and flushing wells on the Department of Environment and Local Government Services website.
