With the New Brunswick election campaign officially in full swing, the provincial NDP releasing a play-by-play of the changes they would make if elected.
The plan is called 12 Months of Change and details what changes the party would make on their first day, within six months and within a year.
Promises for the first day include getting rid of the deduction of work income and parental income from student loans along with cutting down the size of the cabinet from 17 to 10. In six months time they say they would increase the minimum wage to the Atlantic average and rescind the shared risk pension plan for retirees, and within a year they say they would reduce the number of so-called unnecessary government regulations by at least 20-percent and increase medical residencies by 20-percent to allow for more family doctors to practice in New Brunswick.
There are 20 changes in total. You can see the rest of them by clicking here.
