The proposed Central Peninsula Plan will go back before Saint John council again Monday night.
A public hearing is set to take place during a special Common Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
It is a chance for residents to have one more say on the document before council votes to adopt it.
The long-term plan aims to guide development in the city’s core over the next 30 years.
It has been described as a “cohesive vision” for the city’s core and includes a number of action items and bylaw amendments to ensure it is achieved.
So long as council does not request any changes Monday night, they will then move forward with first and second reading of the plan.
A public hearing will also take place for the second phase of proposed amendments to the Heritage Conservation Areas Bylaw.
The changes would enable more flexibility for infill development and major additions in heritage conservation areas, as well as introduce a standing policy for recognizing individual properties of heritage value.
