The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation is looking to the Town of Quispamsis for a one time donation towards its Ambulatory Clinic 1 campaign.
Senior Philanthropy Specialist Darren McLeod gave a presentation to the council on Tuesday evening saying it sees up to 300 patients, per day, 40,000 per year and has 33 different specialities in the one area.
The clinic hasn’t been changed physically since the 80’s and McLeod says a major overhaul is what they are looking to do.
The council passed a motion to refer the request for $10,000 to its finance committee during the budgetary process.
