Quispamsis Man Competes On ‘Jeopardy!’

Wednesday night’s episode of Jeopardy! had a New Brunswick connection to it.

Sean Thompson from Quispamsis was one of the three contestants on the popular game show.

Thompson of Quispamsis struggled to get the hang of the buzzer during the first few questions.

But once he did, the library assistant seamlessly answered question after question, including two Daily Doubles.

Thompson had a $7,600 lead heading into Final Jeopardy and wagered $6,001 on the category Women Writers.

Unfortunately, he got the question wrong and dropped to second place, while the woman in third place answered correctly and bounced into first.

In an interview before the airing, Thompson said he felt good about how he performed during the show.
