Quispamsis is running a deficit for the first 3 months of the year of almost 300 thousand dollars, largely because of the weather and the harsh winter with record breaking snow we had from the end of January through February into March.
The town has been told a combination of overtime hours, contracted snow clearing, equipment maintenance, fuel and salt costs caused the majority of this deficit.
