The Concerned Citizens of Charlotte County organizing a rally today, ahead of the Legislature opening in Fredericton.
Co-chair John Gardner says we are seeing a lot of cuts to services that are affecting people in a very negative way. At the same time, he says, taxes are going up, and so is the deficit.
He says today, they want to educate. “It’s a multi-faceted rally, in that we are going to have people discussing a wide range of topics that effect New Brunswickers. Groups there from across the province, talking about what really is bothering them.”
Gardner says they are trying to educate the public in what the provincial government is doing, and how it will affect their lives. But, he says they also want to educate the government in that New Brunswickers are not happy with how things are going.
