RCMP Identify Remains Found In Noonan

Police say human remains found near Fredericton on Saturday are those of a missing 19-year-old man.

Corey Daniel Sisson of Fredericton was last seen on the city’s north side July 29 and was reported missing August 1.

Mounties say they discovered his remains in a wooded area off Route 10 in Noonan after receiving information from the public.

On Monday, police said they were treating the case as a homicide investigation.

The RCMP say Sisson’s death is considered an isolated incident and there is no risk to the general public.
