RCMP are investigating damage done to a highway overpass north of Sussex.

Police were alerted last week to major damage to the overpass on Cherryvale Road in Canaan Forks near Highway 2.
They say the area is mostly used by logging trucks and excavation equipment.
They believe a piece of heavy equipment may have collided with the overpass when driving underneath.
The damage is estimated around $300,000.
