RCMP Seek ‘Person Of Interest’ In Fairfield Homicide

Police say the death of a man found badly injured on the side of a road near Saint John has been deemed a homicide.

RCMP say officers were called to the area of Route 825 in Fairfield at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

There they found a 29-year-old man lying on the roadside suffering from stabwounds.

The man, who police have now identified as Nathan Gallant of Saint John, later died in hospital.

On Friday, police announced they are looking to speak with Tyler Gamblin, 20, of Saint John as a “person of interest”.

Gamblin is described as about 5’10” tall, weighing roughly 155 pounds with a slim build. He has brown hair that is shaved shorter on the sides and brown eyes.

Anyone who knows where Gamblin may be or who may have information on the investigation is asked to call the Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-7267 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
