RCMP Seek Persons Of Interest In Theft Investigation

RCMP are looking to identify two persons of interest in connection with a property theft investigation in Back Bay.

Police say two people boarded a boat docked at the Back Bay wharf around 2:35 a.m. on April 27.

They made off with several items, including a number of tools as well as a hockey bag.

On Friday, police released surveillance video photos they obtained during the investigation.

The first person appears to have been wearing a light grey ball cap, a blue shirt with a light-coloured plaid flannel on top, blue jeans and green rubber boots.

The second person appears to have been wearing a black ball cap and a black hoodie with a white logo and brand in the front.

Police said the vehicle in question is described as a blue pickup truck with white lettering on the windshield, a black or dark grey driver door and black or dark grey roof.

At the time of the incident, the truck had no tailgate, an amber top light, and a back lighting system. The reverse light on the passenger side was burnt, and the truck appears to have a “lift kit” installed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact St. George RCMP at 506-755-1130 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
