New Brunswick RCMP seized a significant amount of money following a traffic stop last week on the TransCanada Highway.
On Wednesday afternoon around 1:45, police stopped a vehicle with Quebec licence plates by Saint-Jacques, north of Edmundston.
Two men from the Montreal area, aged 40 and 43 were arrested and later released.
Officers discovered a large sum of Canadian currency hidden in the car.
The RCMP reports the seizure has links to organized crime and outlaw motorcycle gangs.
