Just put down your phone and drive.
Twenty-six people were issued tickets in St. Stephen and McAdam during the RCMP’s month-long distracted driving enforcement initiative.
Sgt. Peter Stubbs with the St. Stephen RCMP says, like people not wearing a seatbelt, speeding, or impaired driving, they still see people operating electronic devices while driving.
He says they have a zero-tolerance approach and you will get a ticket of $172.50.
