It’s the time of year when marihuana grow operations are very active….and the RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating them..
Sergeant Paul Ouelette says the grow ops are usually grown in clumps in large areas..but they are often camouflaged with other vegetation…
If you see a grow op…Ouelette says you should call police…
They would rather they not approach as sometimes they are booby-trapped. He says left them know where it is and they will check it out.
RCMP recently dismantled a grow op in Malakoff, near Moncton….35 large plants were seized….RCMP say once mature, the plants could have produced over 17 thousand joints..
