Record Moose Hunt For 2020

It was a successful season for moose hunters with the highest harvest since 1960.

Hunters bagged 3904 moose this season.

The previous record was 3817 moose in 2017.

The Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development says weather conditions were better than average this year and favourable to the hunt.

3689 moose were bagged in 2019, that’s over 200 less than this year.

The moose hunting season ran from September 22-26, and there were 4794 licenses available.
