Red Cross Closes Temporary Flood Office

Seven months after this spring’s flooding, the Canadian Red Cross has closed a temporary flood recovery centre in Fredericton.

The organization said Friday a total of 1,570 people registered as having been impacted by the flooding.

It said only seven households are still getting help because of ongoing issues with property repairs.

The Red Cross said those individual cases will be managed from their permanent offices.
